The Association of Black Educators of New York works closely with parents, educators and students alike to ensure that the classroom environment and curriculum is inclusive and culturally responsive.

The Black Teacher Collaborative offers professional development initiatives to empower aspiring Black educators and prepare them to teach at schools with critical needs subjects. 

Founded by public school teachers, Educators for Excellence is an NYC-based organization that works to ensure that teachers have a leading voice in the policies that impact their students and profession. E4E provides opportunities for teachers to stay informed, connect with colleagues and decision-makers, and advocate for change.

The New York Collective of Radical Educators is dedicated to advocating for Black educators in New York’s public school system. The collective works closely with the community, parents, and student organizations to promote inclusive school education practices. 

The New York Urban League aims to strengthen marginalized communities by providing free resources, mentorship, and educational opportunities. 
 

The New York Branch of the NAACP provides employment opportunities, free resources, and information on local events. 

The NYC Arts in Education Roundtable advocates for arts education. The organization is dedicated to elevating the work of the arts education community in New York City’s schools and communities.

NYC Men Teach hosts community-building professional workshops to recruit and support men of color who aspire to become teachers. NYC Men Teach offers job seekers leadership support, mentoring, professional development and teaching opportunities.
