The Stern College for Women is the undergraduate women's college of arts and sciences of Yeshiva University. Rooted in the tradition of Torah Umadda, programs are committed to timeless values and cutting-edge scholarship. Stern College for Women offers you the opportunity to earn your bachelor's degree in the arts and sciences and immerse yourself in rigorous Jewish studies at the same time, in the same place.

Stern College for Women offers a Bachelor of Arts in Education degree program that prepares you for a career teaching in private and public schools in New York State. Early Childhood Education (Birth-Grade 2) and Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) are registered programs with the New York State Education Department.

After you complete your program requirements and teacher certification exams, you can apply for the New York State Initial Teacher Certification.
