Mercy University offers the following Master of Science programs:

MS in Early Childhood Education: This 33-credit program leads to initial New York state teacher certification in early childhood education (birth-grade 2). Opt for the 36-credit version to earn an additional certification in childhood education. MS in Childhood Education: This 33-credit program leads to initial New York state teacher certification in childhood education (grades 1-6). The 39-credit version allows you to earn an additional certification for students with disabilities. Learn more about this program.

MS in Secondary Education: This 30-credit program leads to initial New York state teacher certification in one of the following subject areas for grades 7-12:

Chemistry
Physics
Earth Science
